Ford CFO: Shifting capital away from internal combustion and toward electric vehicles
Weeks ago, we told you about Ford’s move to slash $14 billion in costs in the next five years under their new CEO, Jim Hackett. While discussing the future of Ford with investors, Hackett discussed plans for several aspects of the company, including electrification. Not everyone believes its’ a big enough focus though. Emmanuel Rosner, an analyst at Guggenheim Partners, told Bloomberg, “The world’s impression of Ford is that they are behind on a lot of these technologies.” In an interview with CNBC’s Phil LeBeau, Ford CFO Bob Shanks disagreed with that statement. Facebook’s Marketplace Partners With Auto Dealers To Boost Used Car Sales
Facebook’s Marketplace is partnering with dealerships to boost used car sales. Forbes says it is partnering with a handful of companies, including Edmunds, Cars.com, Auction123, CDK Global, and SocialDealer to expand the selection of vehicles available to shoppers on Marketplace over the coming weeks.
