The Me + 3 Rule

On today’s episode of Progressive Retail, Cory explains a theory called the Me + 3 Rule.
He explains that every action you take, you need to have the understanding or belief that there is at least 3 other dealers doing the same thing.

This rule would apply in every are of your sales strategy especially in your BDC. Your BDC has a responsibility to contact customers at a high value rate. They have to make call 72 sound as effective as call number 1. We are so consumed with getting our script right, we often forget their is a consumer on the other end and they have options. Cory asks, “are you just trying to get through the call or are you trying to make an impact?”
