According to Jeff Elhart, on July 12, the Elhart Automotive Campus transitioned to the Zeigler Auto Group.

The transition includes Elhart’s Kia, Hyundai, Nissan, and GMC dealerships at 822 Chicago Drive, Holland, Michigan. The company is now Zeigler Kia of Holland, Zeigler Hyundai of Holland, Zeigler Nissan of Holland, and Zeigler GMC of Holland. In addition, the company said the sale represents acquisitions 36, 37, 38, and 39 for the Kalamazoo-based dealer.

Elhart Automotive has seen three generations. Therefore, Jeff Elhart wrote in a statement:

“On behalf of the Elhart family, we wish to thank you for over 58 years of allowing us to serve you with your transportation needs.”  He continues, “We know that this may come as a surprise, and we want to assure you that we made this decision after careful consideration. We believe that Zeigler Auto Group is the best company to continue providing you with the high-quality service that you have come to expect from Elhart Automotive Campus.”

However, the group’s president and owner, Aaron J. Zeigler, said, “To us, this isn’t just another acquisition; this is an opportunity to continue a family tradition and carry on a legacy that the Elhart family started nearly six decades ago.” He adds, “As we continue to work to make Michigan the best place to live and do business, Zeigler is proud to welcome our newest members to the Zeigler family.”

Zeigler intends to renovate the 22-acre property, which consists of five buildings and 86,000 square feet. Zeigler is a family-run company with more than 50 years of expertise in the automotive sector.

Ultimately, Jeff appreciates the Elhart organization’s support from the community, stating, “Serving as your car dealer has been an honor and privilege. We have valued our work; it has been rewarding and provided us a platform to contribute to our community’s needs.”
