The Cadillac LYRIQ has emerged as the best-selling vehicle in its class for the first three quarters of 2024, capturing the attention of buyers nationwide with its blend of luxury, practicality, and cutting-edge electric vehicle (EV) capabilities.

From January through September, over 20,000 LYRIQs were sold in the U.S., with strong performances in key markets such as California (over 3,000 units sold), Florida, and Texas (each exceeding 2,000 units).

As EV adoption grows, buyers prioritize range, design, and price, and the LYRIQ delivers on all three. Boasting an EPA-estimated range of 314 miles and DC fast-charging capability that adds up to 77 miles of range in just 10 minutes, the LYRIQ provides the convenience and reliability EV drivers demand.

Its luxurious interior and available hands-free Super Cruise driving assistance technology further enhance the driving experience, while its competitive starting MSRP of $58,590 makes it an attractive option for luxury SUV buyers transitioning to electric vehicles.

However, Cadillac’s electric revolution is just beginning. Later this year, the brand plans to expand its all-electric portfolio with two new models: the Escalade IQ, a high-end luxury SUV, and the entry-level Optiq. By 2025, Cadillac will debut the Vistiq, an all-electric three-row SUV, positioning itself as one of the few automakers with an EV offering in every luxury SUV segment.

Moreover, the LYRIQ is a key contributor to General Motors’ broader EV strategy. In 2024, GM sold over 300,000 EVs, with Cadillac’s expanding lineup of all-electric models actively contributing to even greater milestones.

Looking ahead, Cadillac plans to introduce the LYRIQ-V in 2026, offering a high-performance option for buyers seeking sportier driving dynamics alongside the LYRIQ’s signature luxury and style. With its impressive range, advanced technology, and affordable pricing, the Cadillac LYRIQ sets new standards for electric luxury SUVs and secures its position as a leader in the rapidly evolving EV market.
