How to improve digital innovation at your car dealership into 2021

2020 has been a wild ride for everyone, the car business included. Through all the ups and downs, dealerships have looked to technology and tech providers to help them adapt especially to the ever-increasing need to sell and service car buyers digitally.

Our guest today is Mark Vickery, senior director of performance management at Cox Automotive. Vickery joins us to talk about the big tech innovations of the past year and also to give us a glimpse of what might be ahead in 2021.

Back at NADA in February, Cox Automotive launched 29 new solutions and invested $500 million in research and development to ensure that dealerships across the country had the tools and data they needed to succeed in 2020. Little did they know just how important digital adoption would become in the months to follow due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In this segment, Vickery and anchor Jim Fitzpatrick address the following:

  • Examples of how dealerships used technology and process innovation to serve their customers more digitally in 2020
  • The Forward Focus 2020 virtual conference. Cox Automotive’s first-ever comprehensive client virtual user conference held this October 13-15.
  • How auto dealers can sell and service cars profitably wherever, whenever and however the car buyers want to do it in 2021
  • Final advice to share with dealers
