Automotive News’ presented its “Best Dealership to Work for” award to two storefronts owned by Kunes Auto and RV Group, which operates over 44 car and RV dealerships throughout the Midwest. The recipients are Kunes Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Oregon and Kunes Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Monmouth, Illinois.

Each year, only 100 dealerships from the U.S. and Canada get recognized, and Kunes has been on the list for ten consecutive years, having won 44 awards altogether. Kunes Auto Group upholds its motto of “Faith, Family, and Giving Back” by providing jobs for more than 1,800 individuals and contributing 10% of its yearly net profits to regional nonprofit organizations.

Automotive News has recognized dealerships for fostering positive work environments with high employee satisfaction levels for the past 12 years. The list is exclusive to the top 100 franchise dealerships in the U.S. for new cars, or roughly 0.5% of all eligible dealerships nationwide. The criteria used to rank the “Best Dealerships to Work for” include information from management and employee surveys.

Scott Kunes, the dealership group’s chief operating officer, said, “Our employees’ families are an extension of ours, and we treat them like family. Knowing that this message comes across to our teams is among the greatest honors we can receive.”
