On the Dash:

  • Expanded access to 27,500 Tesla Superchargers strengthens BEV usability and long-distance driving confidence for Stellantis customers.
  • Dealers should prepare to support adapter sales and educate customers on Free2move Charge app functionality and charging compatibility.
  • Future models, including the 2027 Dodge Charger Daytona, will integrate NACS ports, signaling continued alignment with Tesla’s charging standard.

Stellantis has expanded charging access for its battery-electric vehicle (BEV) customers in North America. By doing so, the automaker is enabling access to more than 27,500 Tesla Supercharger locations via a new adapter and integrated charging tools.

The expanded access includes Tesla V3 and V4 Superchargers, along with Tesla “Magic Dock” Superchargers that feature built-in adapters. The expansion broadens fast-charging availability for Stellantis brands, including Dodge, Jeep, Ram, FIAT, and Maserati.

Starting immediately, customers can access Tesla Superchargers using a Free2move Charge North American Charging System (NACS)-CCS1 DC adapter. The adapter is available for purchase at Stellantis low-emission-vehicle-certified dealerships and through Mopar.com. The company said only Stellantis-approved NACS adapters are compatible with Tesla Superchargers.

To support the expanded charging network, Stellantis offers the Free2move Charge app, which allows users to locate compatible Tesla Supercharger locations and other publicly available AC and DC fast-charging stations. The app also manages charging sessions and payment. Additional supported networks include IONNA Rechargeries.

The following Stellantis battery-electric vehicles are compatible with Tesla Superchargers using the adapter:

  • Dodge Charger Daytona (model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026)
  • Jeep Wagoneer S (model years: 2024 and 2025)
  • Jeep Recon (model year: upcoming 2026)
  • Ram ProMaster EV (model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026)
  • FIAT 500e (model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026)
  • Maserati GranTurismo Folgore (model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026)
  • Maserati GranCabrio Folgore (model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026)
  • Maserati Grecale Folgore (model years: 2025 and 2026)

Looking ahead, Stellantis said the 2027 Dodge Charger Daytona will be the first model in its lineup to feature a native NACS charging port, allowing direct access to Tesla Superchargers without the need for an adapter. The company said the expansion is part of its broader public charging strategy to improve reliability, convenience, and overall charging confidence for battery-electric vehicle customers across North America.
