Hyundai announced its new entry-level 2024 IONIQ 6 SE Standard Range, which currently stands for sale at $41,600. However, the automaker revealed it’s lowering the price to $38,615 due to “production efficiencies and scale.” A spokesperson from the company told Car and Driver that the reduction was due to Hyundai building EVs at a lower cost and can pass the savings to buyers. Read More

Toyota productionDue to the strong demand and improving supply conditions, Toyota’s global sales increased by 8.3% from April to September compared to the same period last year, reaching a record 5.6 million vehicles. This puts the largest automaker in the world on track for further robust gains in the coming year. The automaker said in a statement that its global production, which includes subsidiaries from Japanese manufacturers Daihatsu and Hino, increased by 10% to a record 5.7 million units in the first half of the fiscal year. Read More
