Say goodbye to 5 vehicle models that are being left behind in 2024

From classic cars to popular SUVs, 2024 marks the end of the road for these iconic models as automakers shift focus toward electrification and innovation.
Discontinued vehicles in 2024

Several vehicle models across multiple automakers won’t enter the new year with their counterparts, marking the end of an era for those iconic cars.

Chevrolet Camaro

The beloved Chevy Camaro will be retired after its sixth generation. Although the model’s successor hasn’t been officially announced, rumors have swirled that it could return as an all-electric vehicle. Senior Vice President of Global Chevrolet, Scott Bell, confirmed that this isn’t goodbye to the iconic Camaro forever.

Ford Edge

The Ford Edge, a popular midsize SUV, will also be discontinued after 2024. Ford has already ended production at its Oakville Assembly plant in Ontario to retool for the production of its F-Series Super Duty trucks. This shift reflects Ford’s ongoing strategy to focus on its most profitable models, including its iconic trucks, to meet the growing demand in the commercial sector.

Jaguar XE, XF, F-Type, I-Pace, and E-Pace

Jaguar is ending production of several key models, including the XE sedan, XF sedan, F-Type sports car, I-Pace electric SUV, and E-Pace compact SUV. These models will be phased out as part of Jaguar’s strategy to reinvent itself as an all-electric brand by 2025. The automaker will introduce high-end luxury EV models, such as the upcoming Jaguar XJ EV.

Ram 1500 TRX

Although the Ram 1500 TRX production was officially wrapped in 2023, the automaker released a limited edition model called Ram 1500 TRX 6.2L Supercharged V8 – Final Edition for 2024. A limited amount of 4,000 units were produced, and now this model’s chapter is closed.

Toyota Venza

After the 2024 model year, the Venza will be discontinued in the U.S. market. Once a standout in Toyota’s premium crossover SUV lineup, it will make way for the brand’s new flagship vehicle, the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia.
