40 Under 40 Honoree: Gia Katzenmeyer | Premier Automotive

Gia Katzenmeyer is the Chief Marketing and Digital Officer of Premier Automotive, a large dealership group with nearly 40 locations across California, Kansas, Louisiana, Texas, and Missouri. Joining the retail automotive sector in 2018, Katzenmeyer began working with Premier Automotive as a marketing manager but soon transitioned into her current executive position in 2022. As part of her role, she oversees the company’s marketing efforts and digital presence, carefully planning and executing successful campaigns. In recognition of her contributions to the car business, Katzenmeyer became one of the elite professionals to win a spot on the inaugural CBT News 40 Under 40 Awards list. To learn about her journey through the auto industry and her plans for the future, CBT News anchor Jim Fitzpatrick joins Katzenmeyer for an exclusive interview.

Key Takeaways

1. The proudest achievement of Katzenmeyer’s career was her recent promotion to her current position. Joining the retail automotive sector and transitioning into a key leadership role in only five years is a rare and impressive feat, underlining her professional skillset in management and customer service.

2. In the next five years, Katzenmeyer hopes to continue developing as an automotive professional and grow her team to improve the company’s reach. As part of these goals, she plans to focus on Premier Automotive’s used vehicle marketing strategy in 2024 and fine-tuning the brand’s search engine optimization.

3. Katzenmeyer hopes to inspire other women in the retail automotive sector to continue pursuing their careers and achieve success for themselves and their dealerships. She advises those entering the car business to ask more questions, find a mentor who can help them learn, and continue learning even after they grow comfortable in their new profession.
