CDK extends service agreement with Holman

One of the largest privately-owned dealership groups in the U.S. continues as a key partner in the ongoing innovation of the CDK Dealership Xperience platform.
CDK announced a multi-year extension of its agreement with Holman, one of the largest privately-owned dealership groups in the United States

Austin, Texas – November 18, 2024 – CDK, the leading automotive retail software provider, today announced a multi-year extension of its agreement with Holman, one of the largest privately-owned dealership groups in the United States. The agreement continues to provide Holman’s retail dealerships with the CDK Dealer Management System (DMS) and the Dealership Xperience Modern Retail Suite, a set of powerful software tools that connects the consumer-to-dealer buying journey into a single, unified transaction to enhance the customer experience.

A customer since 2006, Holman has maintained a close partnership with CDK and has been instrumental in providing feedback to reimagine the already industry-leading accounting capabilities with a contemporary design and streamlined workflows. As a result of Holman and other customers’ feedback, CDK has introduced new workflows that increase productivity and efficiency across a number of operational areas with several customers achieving time savings of up to 50 percent in vendor payment processing and increased productivity for numerous processes.

Holman leverages the latest innovations within CDK’s Modern Retail Suite, including an enhanced desking process, to deliver a seamless and streamlined sales transaction process that makes it easier to provide high-quality engagements with consumers both online and in-store.

“Since opening our first dealership in 1924, our focus has always been on providing our customers with an exceptional experience,” said Frank Carbone, executive vice president of retail automotive, Holman. “The way consumers purchase vehicles and related services has shifted dramatically in recent years. Extending our partnership with CDK is an important investment that will help ensure our retail employees have the innovative tools and resources they need to continue driving what’s right for our customers as we strive to deliver an industry-leading buying experience.”

As of 2024, CDK software is relied upon to power the operations of the majority of franchise dealerships in North America, including five of the six publicly held dealership groups in the U.S and the only publicly held dealership group in Canada.

“We are excited to extend our longstanding relationship with Holman as we continue to simplify workflows, streamline data and provide flexible experiences for dealers and consumers through the depth and breadth of our software,” said Brian MacDonald, president and chief executive officer, CDK. “Our relationship with Holman is a testament to the great work our team has done to constantly evolve our solutions to improve operational efficiency, create simpler transactions, and reduce wait times during vehicles sales and service.”
