Cadillac has shared details of the upcoming CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing, two luxury sedans targeted toward tech-savvy and performance-focused buyers.

The two vehicles signify 20 years of Cadillac’s V-Series, which celebrated a record-breaking year in 2023. Similar to previous models, the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing deliver on performance, handling, and design, but place a stronger emphasis on software and functionality.

Both vehicles feature redesigned exteriors, with new front-ends, “walk up and walk away lighting choreography,” low profiles, and additional colors. The CT5-V comes equipped with a 360 horsepower engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Buyers also have access to an all-wheel drive version for tighter controlling. The CT5-V Blackwing features a stronger, 668 horsepower engine, with the option to choose between a 10-speed automatic or 6-speed manual transmission.

Inside the vehicles, Cadillac improved upon previous iterations in terms of both software and hardware. Both models feature a 33-inch LED touchscreen display, which the automaker notes is new to the V-Series lineup. Through this display, drivers can access a range of infotainment apps, including Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play, in addition to a suite of performance-focused tools. These provide a variety of services geared primarily toward racing enthusiasts, such as lap analysis, speed tips, side-by-side video playback of different laps, and a database of previous track excursions.

The Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing are set to arrive this summer, with additional details provided closer to the launch date. However, the automaker will showcase the two models at this year’s Rolex 24 at Daytona from January 27 through January 28.
