Nissan Group closed the second quarter of 2026 with total U.S. sales of 242,741 units, a 9.6% increase compared to the same period last year, as the brand extended its streak as the fastest-growing mainstream automaker in the United States.

Rogue remained Nissan’s top-selling vehicle for the quarter, posting 29.4% retail sales growth year-over-year and recording 65,796 total sales. The model has been recognized as the highest-ranked compact SUV in the J.D. Power 2026 U.S. Initial Quality Study, a designation Nissan credited as a key driver of sustained consumer demand.

Frontier was one of the quarter’s standout performers, with retail sales up 36.8% year-over-year on demand for high value and consistent quality in the segment. Sentra retail sales rose 33.3% for the quarter, while Armada total sales were up 27%. Pathfinder delivered its best-ever quarterly total volume and Kicks posted its best-ever June total sales.

U.S.-manufactured vehicles are playing an increasingly significant role in Nissan’s performance. Vehicles assembled at Nissan’s U.S. plants are forecasted to account for 60.1% of retail sales volume in the first half of 2026, up 10.3 percentage points year-over-year, covering top-selling models including Rogue, Frontier, Pathfinder, and the all-new INFINITI QX65.

INFINITI reported 12,298 total sales for the quarter, consistent with prior-year levels. The brand’s performance was supported by record second-quarter retail sales for the QX80, which delivered more than 3,300 units, and the launch of the all-new QX65, which posted more than 1,000 retail sales in its first full month on sale, outpacing expectations.

Nissan expects continued momentum in the second half of 2026, with the upcoming Rogue Hybrid e-POWER technology anticipated to provide additional lift for the brand’s best-selling nameplate. INFINITI expects continued strength from its SUV lineup, led by the QX60, QX80, and the all-new QX65.
