On the Dash:
- Stellantis simplifies its connected services into Connect ONE and Connect PLUS to improve clarity and adoption
- New EV-focused tools enhance charging management and route planning for electrified vehicles
- Added safety and smart home integration features expand the value of subscription-based services
Stellantis is restructuring its connected services portfolio into a simplified two-tier model, bundling core features into a long-term package while offering premium capabilities through a subscription-based upgrade.
The company’s new structure centers on Connect ONE, included in the vehicle purchase price and valid for 10 years, and Connect PLUS, a subscription service available after an initial trial period.
Connect ONE expands its capabilities for electrified vehicles, adding e-Remote Control across all Stellantis brands. The feature allows drivers of electric and plug-in hybrid models to manage charging and preconditioning remotely via smartphone, improving energy efficiency and helping preserve battery range.
The package also integrates e-ROUTES by Free2move Charge for select brands, including Opel and Peugeot. The tool functions as an intelligent trip-planning system, optimizing routes based on battery range, charging station availability, traffic conditions, and driving behavior. It also delivers real-time traffic visualization and enhanced route displays to improve usability.
Connect PLUS builds on the base offering, adding safety and convenience features. Drivers can access the Amazon Alexa integration, enabling vehicle-to-home connectivity to control smart home devices from the car. The package also includes stolen vehicle tracking assistance, allowing law enforcement to access vehicle location data to support recovery efforts.
Stellantis said it will continue evolving its connected services to align with growing EV adoption and increasing consumer demand for safety and convenience technologies.
