VinFast expands U.S. franchise network with 3 new sales & service locations

On the Dash:

  • VinFast finalized franchise agreements for dealerships in Redondo Beach and Tustin, California, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
  • The locations will provide sales, maintenance, warranty, and after-sales support for VinFast customers.
  • The Vietnamese automaker is also expanding its Certified Pre-Owned program, including up to 10 years of factory warranty coverage.

Earlier this month, VinFast announced that it finalized franchise agreements for three sales and service dealerships located in Redondo Beach and Tustin, California, as well as Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. These new dealerships were scheduled to begin operations this month as part of the company’s North American growth strategy.

The dealerships will offer maintenance services that meet VinFast’s global standards, along with warranty and after-sales support.  Customers can also explore VinFast’s two electric SUV models, the VF D-segment and VF 9 E-segment, and receive expert consultations at the locations.

VinFast believes that establishing local sales and service capabilities will improve access for both existing and prospective customers. The company is actively evaluating potential dealer partners in other U.S. markets as part of its expansion efforts.

Moreover, VinFast continues to strengthen its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program, which offers inspected used electric vehicles (EVs) backed by factory warranty coverage of up to 10 years. According to the Vietnamese automaker, this program is designed to make its EVs more accessible to a wider customer base.

Brian Finnerty, CEO of VinFast North America, said the network expansion reflects a long-term commitment to the U.S. market. According to the Vietnamese automaker, the expanded network will add convenience throughout the ownership experience and help optimize total cost of ownership.
