Aaron Baldwin discusses how automotiveMastermind is helping dealers navigate 2025’s sales challenges

As the automotive industry navigates 2025, dealers face new challenges adapting to a rapidly evolving sales environment. To shed light on how automotiveMastermind is helping dealerships navigate these changes, we sat down with Aaron Baldwin, Chief Product Officer at automotiveMastermind.

On today’s episode of Driving Solutions, Baldwin shares insights into how the company is evolving to meet the needs of dealers in 2025 and beyond. Baldwin highlights the exciting advancements in the company’s product offerings, particularly around integrations and enhancements supporting dealerships as they move past the Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) discovery phase.

With the shift to a post-inventory shortage era, Baldwin emphasizes the need to refocus sales teams on core activities like customer service and car sales. One of automotiveMastermind’s primary objectives for 2025 is improving “salesperson effectiveness,” a metric that tracks how many cars each sales representative sells per month. In addition, Baldwin notes a growing predicament in finding high-quality sales teams, further exacerbated by the increasing number of tasks being placed on their shoulders. To address this, automotiveMastermind is rolling out new tools and co-pilot features designed to make sales teams more efficient and help increase their performance.

Baldwin also shares advice for dealers navigating the complex world of technology solutions. He urges them to carefully evaluate vendors, focusing on data protection and understanding how their data would be used. Nevertheless, Baldwin asserts that dealers should prioritize trust and transparency when selecting solutions, especially when integrating with AI and other technologies.

Looking to the NADA Show in New Orleans, Baldwin encourages dealers to visit automotiveMastermind’s booth to explore the company’s new offerings and learn how their technology can help improve sales team efficiency. He hinted at exciting new product announcements and promising future-proof solutions that will empower dealerships to succeed in an ever-changing market.

"One of our top priorities for 2025 is figuring out how to support our dealership partners in helping improve salesperson effectiveness. What I mean by salesperson effectiveness is how many cars per salesperson are they selling on average per month?
