Cadillac is taking its legendary luxury SUV into the electric era with the introduction of the 2025 ESCALADE IQ, offering a combination of high performance, advanced technology, and signature style. The all-electric SUV delivers an estimated 750 horsepower, 785 lb-ft of torque, and a Cadillac-estimated 460-mile driving range.

In a recent video on General Motors’ YouTube channel, testers drove the ESCALADE IQ through California’s coastal canyons and at a private airstrip, showcasing the vehicle’s acceleration, handling, and driving comfort. Cadillac’s driver-selectable Velocity Max allows the ESCALADE IQ to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in less than five seconds. Standard four-wheel steering improves maneuverability in tight spaces and stability on highways, while Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 with Adaptive Air Ride Suspension isolates passengers from road imperfections and maintains precise handling.

Inside, the ESCALADE IQ blends luxury with cutting-edge technology. Drivers are greeted by a 55-inch curved LED display spanning the dashboard. Available heated, cooled, and massaging front seats provide comfort for all conditions. Executive Second Row Seating offers a business-jet-like experience with adjustable reclining seats, tray tables, individual 12.6-inch displays, wireless charging pads, and USB-C and HDMI ports. A rear command-center screen gives passengers control over climate, seating, and entertainment. Power-operated doors add convenience and a touch of luxury.

The ESCALADE IQ marks Cadillac’s move from traditional gas-powered SUVs to fully electric vehicles, reflecting the brand’s strategy to blend luxury, technology, and performance in the evolving luxury SUV market.
