Volkswagen has significantly reduced the lease price for its 2024 ID.4 Standard, making it the most affordable yet. The new lease rate is now just $219 per month for 36 months, with $3,499 due at signing. This marks the lowest lease price for the ID.4 to date, based on an MSRP of $39,735 and an allowance of 10,000 miles per year.

According to a dealer bulletin reported by CarsDirect, the ID.4 Standard now features $9,250 in lease cash, an increase of $1,000 from the previous amount. This adjustment brings the effective monthly cost to just $316, which is over $100 less than it was at this time last year.

Earlier this year, Volkswagen offered an $11,000 discount on leases for 2023 ID.4 models, with some discounts reaching up to 30% off MSRP by spring. These aggressive pricing strategies have made the 2024 ID.4 more competitively priced, especially compared to rivals like the Tesla Model Y. The ID.4 also outpaces the Hyundai IONIQ 5 SEL and Kia EV6 Light LR in terms of lease affordability, with monthly rates of $330 and $376, respectively.

Adding to its appeal, the 2024 ID.4 comes with a three-year Electrify America Pass+ membership, which includes 500 kWh of free DC fast charging and Level 2 charging. However, this special lease pricing is available only until September 3.
