Kia adds off-road packages, raises prices for 2023 Telluride

Kia is updating its popular three-row SUV model: the Telluride, with new features for 2023, including an upgraded design, new driving capabilities, and a list of driver assist features.

The company is also adding two new trim levels, the X-Line and X-Pro, which the company says are off-road oriented. They both feature 8.4-inches of ground clearance, nearly half an inch more than other Tellurides, and include a revamped front and rear fascia to allow a better approach and departure angle. Re-tuned shocks, springs, and a traction control system give the new trim levels improved off-road performance.

The upgrades include a new wheel design, a newly shaped grille, headlights, and new white running lights. Inside, the Telluride gets a new digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touch screen, and an optional wireless charging pad.

The drive train remains the same, and both front and all-wheel drive models are available. The top models, including the new trim levels and the SX-Prestige, come in AWD only.

Starting prices for the 2023 models jumped about $2,000 across the board, with the base model starting at $35,690 and the top-tier model starting at $52,785. The 2023 Telluride is available in dealerships now.
