FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 16, 2025 – Hyundai Motor America has been honored with three prestigious awards at the 2025 Ragan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Awards, emphasizing the company’s dedication to community outreach and making a positive impact on society. Hyundai received awards in the following categories: CSR or ESG Initiative, Public Health or Safety Initiative, and Community Relations. These accolades reflect Hyundai’s ongoing commitment to improving the well-being of individuals and fostering safer, healthier communities across the United States.

Hyundai’s Child Passenger and Pedestrian Safety Initiative received two awards, winning in the categories of ‘CSR Initiatives’ and ‘Public Health or Safety Initiative.’ A cornerstone of Hyundai Hope, this initiative brings together families, certified safety experts, and community partners to address the critical issue of child safety in vehicles and public spaces. Collaborating with leading hospitals across the country, Hyundai helps families learn proper car seat installation and promotes road safety for children by fostering education and awareness to prevent injuries.

“Hyundai is committed to providing automotive safety education and awareness to the communities in which we work and those that need additional resources to make a direct impact on child passenger and pedestrian safety,” said Brian Latouf, president and global chief safety and quality officer, Hyundai Motor Group. “We value and appreciate the honorable recognition by Ragan Communications and are committed to doing our part in keeping children and our passengers safe while driving.”

Hyundai’s Amigos Unidos Employee Resource Group was recognized in the ‘Community Relations’ category for its contributions to community relations through cultural awareness, mentorship, and volunteerism. The group’s initiatives include mentoring underserved youth, organizing cultural events, and volunteering with local nonprofits. Their efforts embody Hyundai’s commitment to positive change and demonstrate the impact of employee-driven community engagement.

“We are incredibly proud to be recognized by Ragan Communications for our commitment to corporate social responsibility, underscoring our global vision of progress for humanity,” said Brandon Ramirez, director, corporate social responsibility, Hyundai Motor North America. “These awards motivate us to continue investing in our communities, advancing public health, and creating a safer future for children and families across the country.”

Hyundai Motor America and Genesis Motor America also received five additional Honorable Mention recognitions in various categories. The Ragan CSR Awards recognize outstanding organizations that set the benchmark in purpose-driven initiatives. Honoring exemplary achievements in sustainability, community engagement, and leadership, the awards celebrate those whose efforts are making a positive, lasting impact on society and helping to shape a safer, healthier, and more sustainable future.
