The Dave Cantin Group (DCG), a prominent advisor in the automotive retail sector, has successfully facilitated Stivers Automotive’s acquisition of a Ford dealership in Union City, Georgia, from AutoNation. This transaction underscores DCG’s expertise in navigating the Southeast automotive market.

DCG President and CEO Dave Cantin praised the achievement, stating, “Our extensive experience and deep market knowledge enabled us to connect Stivers Automotive with this strategic opportunity. The strength of our team was crucial in executing this successful acquisition.”

Stivers Automotive, a multi-state dealership group located in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, and South Carolina, is led by brothers Eddie and John Stivers. Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, the Stivers brothers are third-generation auto dealers with a family legacy in the industry dating back to 1927.

AutoNation, one of the largest automotive retailers in the U.S., operates a vast network of dealerships nationwide. It offers a wide range of new and used vehicles, along with financing, parts, and maintenance services.

Eddie Stivers, Owner and Dealer Principal of Stivers Automotive expressed his gratitude: “I want to thank the DCG team for their support in finalizing this deal. Their expertise and communication made the transaction seamless, and I am eager to collaborate with DCG on future acquisitions.”
