Kody Holdings sells 12-store Southern Maryland portfolio to Brandon Steven Motors

Wichita, Kansas-based Brandon Steven Motors has acquired a 12-dealership portfolio in Southern Maryland from Kody Holdings, marking the group’s first entry into the East Coast market. The stores span Upper Marlboro, Waldorf, Prince Frederick, La Plata, Lexington Park and Leonardtown, and represent a mix of Toyota, Honda, Ford, Lincoln, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, GMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram franchises. Existing dealership names and leadership teams remain in place, but plans are in place to rebrand under the SOMD Auto subgroup banner. The acquisition pushes Brandon Steven Motors past 30 rooftops nationwide.
