Stellantis unveils simplified, two-tier connected services for US drivers

Starting July 2025, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and FIAT vehicles will come with enhanced standard features and optional Wi-Fi-powered upgrades.
Stellantis

Stellantis will roll out a new, simplified connected services model for U.S. customers in July 2025, offering two bundled options: Connect ONE and Connect Wi-Fi PLUS, on Dodge, Jeep, Ram, and FIAT brand vehicles. The Connect ONE package will be included at no additional cost for 10 years, offering critical remote features and vehicle management tools. The optional Connect Wi-Fi PLUS tier includes advanced features like Alexa integration, Wi-Fi hotspot access, vehicle tracking, and connected navigation for a monthly subscription. Existing and new vehicle owners can activate services at the dealership, with a free three-month trial for premium access if initiated within 30 days of purchase or lease.

Here’s why it matters:

This rollout directly impacts how dealerships present value to customers, particularly in the F&I office and during the digital retailing process. By standardizing key connected features and extending access for up to 10 years, Stellantis dealers gain a stronger value proposition during vehicle delivery and service retention conversations. Additionally, the subscription-based Wi-Fi PLUS option offers recurring revenue potential and upsell opportunities that align with customer demand for seamless connectivity. As EV and connected tech adoption grows, this simplified approach can help dealers explain features more easily, streamline the activation process, and improve CSI scores.

Key takeaways:

  • Standard features extended to 10 years
Connect ONE includes essential tools like remote lock and unlock, vehicle health reports, recall alerts, and EV charging controls for 10 years.
  • Subscription upsell opportunity
Connect Wi-Fi PLUS offers dealers an added F&I touchpoint, featuring real-time navigation, Alexa, vehicle tracking, and a hotspot for $17.99 per month after a 3-month free trial.
  • Customer setup begins at the dealership
Connect ONE is automatically included, but Connect Wi-Fi PLUS must be trialed or purchased within 30 days of the sale to unlock full benefits.
  • Applies to new and used vehicles
Eligible used vehicles also qualify, giving dealers more flexibility when marketing certified pre-owned or lightly used inventory.
  • Feature set varies by brand and trim
Not every vehicle will have every feature, so sales and service teams must understand model-specific compatibility to manage expectations and maximize satisfaction.
