Tesla hikes Cyberbeast price by $15K despite weak sales

The sharp price increase is unexpected, given the EV maker's struggle to sell Cybertrucks.

On the Dash:

  • Tesla raised the price of the Cyberbeast, the top-level trim of the Cybertruck, by $15,000 to $114,900.
  • The Cyberbeast also comes with a new “Luxe Package” that features Supervised FSD and Supercharger network access.
  • Tesla only sold 4,306 Cybertrucks during Q2 2025, a 12.6% drop year-over-year.

Tesla has raised the price of the Cyberbeast, its most expensive variant of its Cybertruck, by $15,000 in the United States despite weak sales and multiple recalls. The Cyberbeast now costs $114,990 and comes with a new “Luxe Package,” which includes Tesla’s Supervised Full-Self Driving and free access to the Supercharger network.

The sharp price increase is unexpected, given the EV maker’s struggle to sell Cybertrucks. While Tesla secured over 1 million reservations before the vehicle’s official rollout, actual deliveries have drastically underperformed the company’s initial projections.

Tesla has tried several strategies to boost demand, including accepting Cybertruck trade-ins, offering discounted financing and leasing options. The company also introduced the Cybertruck Long Range, the most affordable variant, in April. Despite these efforts, sales remain sluggish.

While Tesla does not disclose Cybertruck deliveries, Kelley Blue Book estimates that Tesla sold just 4,306 Cybertrucks in the second quarter of 2025, down 12.6% from the same period in 2024. For the full year 2024, the automaker sold 38,965 units, far below CEO Elon Musk’s original goal of at least 500,000 units annually.
