(San Jose, CA) – Sony Honda Mobility of America Inc. (SHMA) celebrated the grand opening of its newest AFEELA Studio San Jose at Westfield Valley Fair on September 20, 2025, marking the brand’s studio debut in the South Bay Area.
The event kicked off on Saturday, September 20, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by SHMA leadership, media, and the community. Guests were among the first in the region to experience the AFEELA 1 “Core Black” Signature Series, which made its Northern California premiere alongside the “Calm White” edition.
Over the course of the day, visitors explored SHMA’s vision for the future of mobility through hands-on vehicle demonstrations, interactive gaming stations, a live DJ, and exclusive giveaways. Light refreshments kept the energy high, while AFEELA ambassadors guided attendees through the Studio’s activities.

Reservations for the AFEELA 1 are now open, with a fully refundable deposit of $200. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in California in 2026.
The AFEELA Studio San Jose at Westfield Valley Fair (Suite 1133, adjacent to Center Court) will be open daily during mall hours until March 2026.
