Austin, Texas – December 10, 2025 – CDK, the leading automotive retail software provider, has been recognized as a Great Place to Work-CertifiedTM company in the U.S., India, and Canada.
The award was presented by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue and increased innovation.

CDK has consistently earned the Great Place to Work-CertifiedTM status in the U.S. since 2022, India since 2020, and Canada since 2024. The certification criteria were based on anonymous employee responses utilizing the Great Place To Work Trust IndexTM Survey. Three components focused on the actions of leaders and building trust, including credibility, respect, and fairness. Two additional components measured the workplace experience of employee in relation to their colleagues and the wider organization, including pride and a sense of belonging.

The recognition from the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and leadership reflects CDK and its sustained focus on building a technology workplace, where autonomy, clarity and integrity guide everyday decision-making and work experience.

Key CDK employee-centered initiatives included a new mentorship program; a strong recognition program; double-matched employee donations on GivingTuesday, which totaled $516,000 this year; a development program for new managers; an intensive leadership program where top talent are brought together for career development; and an immersive internship program designed to provide hands-on experience and professional growth opportunities for students. In the U.S., paid parental leave benefits include six weeks of full pay for birth, adoption, or foster placement of a child.

“We are proud that our employees across the U.S., India and Canada once again regard CDK as a great place to work. This recognition reflects the strength of our culture and our commitment to investing in our people and communities,” said Brian MacDonald, president and chief executive officer of CDK. “By fostering an inclusive environment built on trust and continuous learning, we empower our teams to deliver exceptional results for our customers and drive long-term success for our company.”

Results from the Great Place to Work® CDK employee engagement survey included:

  • When joining the company, 94% of employees experienced a welcoming environment from colleagues and management.
  • 93% of those who participated feel they can take time off from work when needed.
  • 91% of employees believe that management is approachable and easy to talk with.
  • Employees rank genuine care for one another (90%), along with a sense of pride and accomplishment (89%), among the top benefits of working at CDK.

In addition, 91% of respondents highlighted CDK facilities in contributing to a good working environment. The company offers a hybrid of remote work and onsite locations across the globe, with corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas.

“This year’s survey results show meaningful progress, with higher scores across key areas of employee experience—from a welcoming environment and approachable leadership to flexibility and pride in our work,” MacDonald added. “We will continue to cultivate an engaging workplace where well-being and achievement are valued, ensuring CDK remains one of the top companies in the industry.”
