Toyota offers disaster relief, payment support for customers affected by CA flooding

The world’s largest automaker is rolling out financial relief and matched donations to support Californians recovering from severe flooding.

On the Dash: 

  • Toyota is supporting California flood recovery through financial contributions and matching employee donations to disaster-relief nonprofits. 
  • Toyota Financial Services and Lexus Financial Services are offering payment relief options for lease and finance customers in impacted areas. 
  • Eligible customers can access deferred payments, billing adjustments, and flexible payment arrangements through dedicated channels. 

Toyota Motor North America and Toyota Financial Services are providing financial and customer assistance following severe flooding in California, offering relief programs and matching donations to support recovery efforts.

According to the automaker, Toyota Motor North America and Toyota Financial Services announced new measures to assist communities impacted by the recent flooding in California. The company contributes annually to The American Red Cross and SBP, with those funds directed toward nationwide disaster response and recovery efforts. To further aid affected areas, Toyota is matching donations made by U.S.-based employees to The American Red Cross, SBP, and other eligible nonprofits.

In addition to community support, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) and Lexus Financial Services (LFS) are offering payment relief options for customers in designated disaster zones. The broad outreach applies to any TFS or LFS lease or finance customer living in the affected regions.

Eligible customers may access several forms of assistance, including extensions, lease deferrals, redirected billing statements, and arrangements for phone or online payments. Moreover, the automaker is encouraging customers to contact their financial services provider to discuss available options.

TFS customers can reach the Support Center after logging in to ToyotaFinancial.com or by calling 800-874-8822. Meanwhile, LFS customers can contact support through LexusFinancial.com or call 800-874-7050.

The company expressed its sympathy to residents affected by the flooding and emphasized its commitment to supporting recovery efforts across the region.
