Stellantis names Sébastien Jacquet as new Chief Quality Officer amid executive restructuring

Jacquet steps into the leadership role following Antonio Filosa's promotion to CEO.
Stellantis appoints Sébastien Jacquet as Chief Quality Officer, bringing 25+ years of global experience in quality and EV development.

Stellantis has appointed Sébastien Jacquet as Chief Quality Officer, effective Monday, with his role transition taking place immediately. He will succeed Antonio Filosa, who was recently promoted to CEO amid Stellantis’ executive reshuffling following the abrupt departure of former CEO Carlos Tavares in December.

Jacquet brings 25 years of experience in quality assurance, automotive engineering and technology, research and development, and project management to the role. In his most recent position, he served as the Deputy Chief Engineering and Technology Officer within Stellantis’ Engineering and Technology Development Department. He also previously held the role of head of cross-car line and project engineering, where he was responsible for overseeing development across multiple vehicle programs.

Jacquet has been instrumental in strategically positioning Stellantis in the growing electric vehicle (EV) market. He played a pivotal role in launching the auto giant’s STLA Medium, the company’s first multi-energy platform. Several of the company’s European nameplates utilize the platform, with more expected to launch in 2026.

Jacquet also has noteworthy international experience, including EV development and international partnerships in China and other global markets. As Stellantis’ Chief Quality Officer, he will play a critical role in maintaining quality across the automaker’s 14 brands, including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram.
