Todd Katcher on PULSE: Revolutionizing dealership metrics with real-time insights

Katcher notes that dealerships often rely on outdated systems like dry-erase boards or weekly printed reports, which only provide historical data. PULSE, on the other hand, updates every 15 minutes and offers real-time insights that help managers take immediate action. He emphasized that this level of visibility drives competition and motivation among employees, as they can see where they stand relative to their colleagues.

Additionally, the app enables salespeople to track their performance, compare themselves to peers, and even receive alerts about deal statuses, helping them resolve issues proactively. Managers can access real-time data to track trends, set goals, and adjust strategies before it’s too late. For example, a manager could identify a salesperson falling short of their daily call average and address the issue immediately, rather than at month-end.

Moreover, PULSE offers a cost-effective alternative to more sophisticated (and expensive) tools that are geared toward larger dealerships or owners. The system is designed to be affordable, easy to use, and scalable, making it accessible for dealerships of all sizes. The feedback from users has been overwhelmingly positive, with many noting how PULSE has made a tangible impact on their operations and bottom line.

As Katcher emphasizes, PULSE equips dealerships to react to trends in real-time, improving efficiency, profitability, and overall team morale.
