Hendrick Automotive Group, the Charlotte, N.C.-based dealership group said to be the largest privately owned auto retailer in the U.S., has acquired Foreign Cars Italia Charlotte and Foreign Cars Italia Greensboro from Hickory, N.C.-based Paramount Automotive. The transaction encompasses eight luxury and exotic franchises across two rooftops, including Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, Maserati and Porsche. Foreign Cars Italia has been the exclusive Ferrari retailer for the Carolinas since 1993. Kerrigan Advisors exclusively represented Paramount Automotive on the sell-side. Paramount will continue operating its remaining stores in Asheville, Hickory and Valdese, N.C.
