The TRD Pro earns its badge with serious off-road equipment, including FOX shocks, a 1.1-inch front lift, Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, an electronically locking rear differential, forged 18-inch BBS wheels, and 33-inch Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires. Toyota backs the Tundra with a three-year/36,000-mile basic warranty, while the hybrid system is covered for eight years or 100,000 miles. Two years of scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance are also included.
Pricing starts at $41,260 for the Tundra lineup, while my TRD Pro test truck, equipped with several options, totaled $79,517.
The 2026 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro delivers impressive hybrid performance, excellent off-road capability, intuitive technology, and everyday comfort. Fuel economy could be better, and the thick front roof pillars reduce visibility at times, but those are minor drawbacks. For buyers cross-shopping the Ford F-150 Raptor, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ZR2, and Ram 1500 RHO, the Tundra TRD Pro remains a strong contender that combines capability with Toyota’s reputation for long-term durability.
