Honda and the Honda USA Foundation kick off annual funding cycle to support programs making a difference in local communities

Honda and the Honda USA Foundation Kick Off Annual Funding Cycle to Support Programs Making a Difference in Local Communities
  • Eligible organizations can request funding for programs that drive sustainable change aligned with key Honda CSR pillars
  • Applications will be accepted through October 31, 2025
  • Funding awards will be announced in spring 2026

Honda and the Honda USA Foundation today opened their annual funding cycle for eligible nonprofit organizations and schools to apply for awards supporting high-impact programs that align with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) vision to help people fulfill their life’s potential. All applications for programmatic funding must be received by October 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time, with decisions to be announced in spring of 2026.

“Honda is proud to support the communities where we live and work by investing in programs that reflect our core values and deliver lasting, meaningful impact,” said Bobbie Trittschuh, charitable giving manager for Honda and executive director for the Honda USA Foundation. “By partnering with organizations leading these efforts, we can help build safer, more sustainable, and more equitable communities for the future.”

This year’s available funding award categories focus on three of the five Honda CSR pillars: Education, Environment and Mobility. They were chosen to help inspire the next generation of leaders and prepare a future-ready workforce, further the company’s goal of reduced environmental impact, and enhance the joy and freedom of mobility for all. Honda recognizes that these challenges require collective action with organizations that share the company’s vision for a better, more sustainable world.

Education

As part of its ongoing commitment to cultivate a future-ready workforce, Honda aims to support hands-on programs that strengthen the manufacturing industry and bolster the talent pipeline. Priority will be given to initiatives that train individuals for manufacturing roles, develop technical skills in design and data analytics, and introduce automation and AI to enhance current systems.

Environment

Honda is taking on the challenge of reducing the environmental impact of its products and business operations. The company seeks to support education, awareness, and infrastructure programs that share its mission to protect the health of the planet. Priority will be given to programs that address and advance decarbonization, clean energy, and efficient use of natural resources.

Mobility

The Honda USA Foundation envisions a world where every person is empowered to dream and fulfill their own life’s potential. The Foundation partners with organizations offering programs that strive to remove barriers and expand opportunities for individuals with disabilities, ensuring access to the mobility solutions they need to thrive.

Eligible organizations are those with programs serving communities near Honda operations. Each request will be evaluated based on merit, with consideration given to community needs and available funding. More details about the specific eligibility requirements and available funding opportunities are outlined within the award criteria.
