Subaru dealer supports Palm Beach youth with $70K donation to Boys & Girls Clubs

Donation from the Share the Love campaign to fund academic programs, mentoring, and wellness services through the Boy & Girls Clubs. 
More than 40,000 children in Palm Beach County will benefit from a $70,000 donation by Schumacher Subaru of West Palm Beach and Delray.

More than 40,000 children in Palm Beach County will benefit from a $70,000 donation made on May 15, 2025,  by Schumacher Subaru of West Palm Beach and Schumacher Subaru of Delray to the Boy & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.

The contribution is part of Subaru America’s annual Share the Love campaign, which donates $250 for every new Subaru sold or leased at participating dealerships. Customers can choose from several local charities. However, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County have proudly participated in the Share the Love campaign for nearly a decade.

According to Charles Schumacher, owner of Schumacher Auto Group, in a CBS 12 News press interview, he expressed how the funds will have a meaningful impact. Stating, “We’re really blessed with the way things went this year and being able to contribute to the Boys & Girls Club.” He added, “They touched the lives of 40,000 young individuals in Palm Beach County, helping with academics, food, mentoring, and more. It’s about giving these kids the opportunity to get on the right path and become good contributors to society.” 

Jaene Mrianda, president and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, said the funding will be used to support local academic programs and school-based services. “These funds will directly support our academic programming at our club school sites,” Miranda said. She added, “With challenges like low academic proficiency, chronic absenteeism, and rising mental health concerns among youth, this support is more important to me than ever.”
