Best EV lease deals in March 2025

Lease deals vary by region, with rates influenced by different incentives and dealership promotions.
best lease deals in March 2025

As electric vehicle (EV) adoption continues to grow, leasing remains an attractive option for consumers looking to save on monthly payments. With EV sales reaching 1.3 million units in 2024 and nearly 200,000 sold in the first two months of 2025, automakers are rolling out competitive offers to drive demand. This March, several EV models are available for lease under $300 per month, making it a prime time for budget-conscious buyers to go electric.

Automakers such as Hyundai, Kia, Tesla, and Honda are offering significant discounts on popular EV models. Leasing is increasingly appealing due to lower monthly payments compared to financing, with the average EV lease costing approximately $175 less per month than an auto loan.

The most affordable leases for March 2025

Some lease deals are region-specific, and rates may vary slightly due to differing incentives and dealership promotions.

Kia and Hyundai

The 2025 Kia Niro EV stands out as one of the most affordable options, available for $129 per month with a 24-month term. The 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 can be leased for $159 per month, while the IONIQ 6 starts at $149 per month.

Honda and Acura

The 2024 Honda Prologue, which has emerged as a top-selling electric SUV, is available for $239 per month on a 36-month lease. Acura’s luxury electric SUV, the ZDX, starts at $299 per month for a 24-month lease.

Chevrolet

The 2024 Chevy Equinox EV and Blazer EV are both leasing for $299 per month with 24-month terms, with additional incentives available for trade-ins.

Fiat

The Fiat 500e is available for $159 per month, making it one of the lowest-cost options.

Ford

The 2024 Mustang Mach-E can be leased for $213 per month on a 36-month term, while the F-150 Lightning starts at $233 per month for 24 months.

Nissan

The 2025 Nissan LEAF is available for $259 per month.

Toyota and Subaru

The 2025 Toyota bZ4X is available for $259 per month, while the 2024 Subaru Solterra offers an effective lease rate of just $287 per month.

Tesla

Both the Model Y and Model 3, consistently among the top-selling EVs in the U.S., can be leased for $299 per month with a 36-month term.

These deals may not last

As the Trump administration moves to phase out federal EV incentives, including the $7,500 tax credit, the outlook for EV leasing could shift dramatically. Automakers currently leverage these credits to lower lease payments, but potential changes to federal policies may impact affordability in the near future. Consumers considering an EV should take advantage of promotions before incentives expire.

With multiple EV models available for under $300 per month, leasing remains a cost-effective way to transition to electric mobility.
