2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan pricing starts at $74,900

Mercedes-Benz EQE

Mercedes-Benz has announced pricing for its all-electric luxury sedan, the EQE, which is expected to hit US dealerships in the next few weeks.

The EQE will be available in three trim levels; Premium, Exclusive, and Pinnacle. There will be three variants per trim depending on battery size and optional technology. The base model of the EQE will start at $76,500. The top of the lineup, the EQE 500 4MATIC Sedan, will have a starting price of $91,500.

The EQE is built on the same technical platform as the EQS, although it is a slightly smaller sedan. The rear-wheel drive launch model will use the same battery that powers the base model EQS, with a range of up to 305 miles. That’s less than the original estimate offered by the company of 410 miles. It will also be less powerful, with 288 horsepower versus the 516hp delivered by the all-wheel drive EQS.

Mercedes recently announced an SUV version of the EQE that is expected in dealerships sometime next year. Also in the pipeline are the electrified G-Wagen, AMG, and Maybach models, which will likely be available in 2024 or later.

The German automaker has pledged to go all-electric by 2030 and has committed to investing about $47 billion US. dollars to realize that goal.
