The all-new 2027 Kia Telluride — Kia’s best-selling SUV that’s been completely redesigned for this new generation. The new Telluride is bigger, bolder, and more refined, while keeping the rugged, boxy styling that buyers love.
The 2027 Telluride grows in all the right ways. It’s now 2.3 inches longer overall, with a wheelbase stretched nearly 3.0 inches, and one inch taller than before. Those changes translate into more interior room and a stronger road presence.
The design follows Kia’s “Opposites United” philosophy — blending strength with elegance, toughness with sophistication. The result is an SUV that looks both capable and upscale.
Up front, you’ll notice vertical LED headlamps framing a high-gloss grille with precision detailing. Kia’s new Star Map lighting gives the front end a distinctive signature — twin LED strips that outline the grille with modern amber accents.
Along the sides, the Telluride’s fluid contours and triangular fender creases create an athletic stance. The flush door handles, similar to what we’ve seen on the EV9, give it a clean, futuristic look. Out back, dual vertical tail lamps separated by a body-color strip complete a premium, high-tech design.
The Telluride X-Pro trim takes things further with a darker, more aggressive character. You get blacked-out trim, side mirrors, D-pillars, and wheel arches, along with raised roof rails and 9.1 inches of ground clearance. The X-Pro even adds front and rear recovery hooks and all-terrain tires, making it more off-road capable than before.
And there’s a new Ground Lighting system, unique to the X-Pro. Lights project from under the mirrors and doors, illuminating the ground when you approach or open the doors. Even the tailgate area gets soft lighting for nighttime cargo access — it’s functional and visually cool.
Under the hood, the Telluride continues with Kia’s 3.8-liter V6, producing 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Power goes through an 8-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive remains available across most trims.
The powertrain is refined for better efficiency. Expect improved towing capability, a more composed ride, and quieter operation cabin.
Buyers can choose from several wheel options — 18-, 20-, or 21-inch designs — with the X-Pro’s blacked-out, thick-spoke wheels giving it a more rugged, tactical appearance.
The X-Pro’s increased ground clearance, new suspension tuning, and stronger tires are for the weekend adventurer but still offer everyday luxury. This is the hot trend.
Inside, Kia has elevated the Telluride with a new interior design, wide screens, a modern look, a wraparound dash layout, and real metal accents. New materials — from wood-like textures to high-quality leather and new upholstery options.
Creative use of space with the center console, which can transform into a functional table for passengers. Seating for up to 8 passengers. The rear cargo area is reconfigurable, featuring a folding luggage table with built-in ruler markings and a removable partition — clever touches and stylish.
The expanded dimensions translate to more headroom, legroom, and easier access to the second and third rows. The result is a cabin that feels more open and more spacious.
Even the headrests have been redesigned with breathable mesh. The seating position remains higher, giving drivers an excellent view of the road.
Expect all the latest tech for this premium SUV: a large curved display, the newest infotainment interface, and enhanced connectivity features, including dual wireless phone chargers.
Safety continues to be important, the driver assistance features are standard and include the popular blindspot cameras, and advanced collision avoidance systems.
New ambient lighting, customizable drive modes, and a more responsive sport mode.
New colors are available. Inside, new two-tone combinations include Deep Navy with Tuscan Umber, and a standout Blackberry and Sand Beige — bold but elegant.
The X models stick to darker tones: all-black, deep khaki, or saddle brown with a more purposeful appearance.
On the exterior, fresh paint options like Black Jade Green and Terrain Brown, available in both glossy and matte finishes, join a palette of ten colors.
The 2027 Telluride competes directly with other three-row SUVs like the Honda Pilot, Hyundai Palisade, and Toyota Highlander.
Kia continues to stand out by offering more standard features, a premium design, and a lower price point than most rivals. It’s built in America, at their Georgia plant.
The Telluride has been one of Kia’s biggest success stories — not just because of its design, but because it delivers value and substance. This is why the dealers call it the “Sell U-Ride”.
The 2027 Kia Telluride proves that it has evolved without losing its character. It’s bigger and offers technology without paying luxury-brand prices.
