Stellantis employees donate $18,000 in toys to Sparky’s Toy Drive

The donation continues a 23-year tradition of Stellantis Windsor employees supporting local families during the holidays.

On the Dash:

  • Stellantis Windsor Assembly Plant employees donated $18,000 in new toys to Sparky’s Toy Drive for the 23rd year.
  • The convoy featured the 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack and five Chrysler Pacificas loaded with toys.
  • The holiday drive supports about 1,200 families and nearly 3,000 children across Windsor-Essex this season.

Stellantis employees at the Windsor Assembly Plant delivered a significant boost to a longtime community tradition this week, donating about $18,000 in new toys to the Windsor Firefighters’ annual Sparky’s Toy Drive. The effort marks the 23rd consecutive year the plant has supported the program, which assists local families during the holiday season.

The donation arrived in a convoy of Windsor-built vehicles at the plant on Dec. 11. Leading the event was the all-new SIXPACK-powered 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack, driven by Santa Claus, who opened the celebration with a tire-spinning display. Five Chrysler Pacifica minivans followed, each filled with toys destined for families across the Windsor-Essex region.

Plant leaders said the support reflects the strong community role Stellantis employees continue to play. They highlighted the longstanding partnership between the Windsor Assembly Plant, Unifor members and Windsor Fire and Rescue Services. Organizers noted that the annual effort has grown into a key resource for area families during a time of rising need.

This year, about 1,200 families and nearly 3,000 children have registered for toy assistance through Sparky’s Toy Drive. The program continues to rely on corporate partners, volunteers and local donors to meet demand. Since 2002, Stellantis employees have contributed toys valued at nearly $320,000, filling 128 vehicles over more than two decades of support.

The event also showcased two of the plant’s highest-profile products. Production of the Chrysler Pacifica continues to anchor the facility, while the 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack launch adds momentum as Stellantis prepares for the new model year. Plant managers said the workforce remains committed to building both world-class vehicles and a stronger local community.
