  • Kia will debut the 2027 Telluride later this month at the Los Angeles Auto Show before its 2026 showroom launch.
  • The next-gen SUV features a larger, boxier design with premium styling and modernized details.
  • Telluride sales have topped 444,000 units since 2019, underscoring its importance to Kia’s U.S. lineup.

Kia has unveiled the next-generation 2027 Telluride SUV, describing it as a new benchmark for the brand’s design and ambition. The redesigned three-row midsize SUV will officially debut later this month at the Los Angeles Auto Show before arriving in U.S. showrooms during the first quarter of 2026.

The 2027 Telluride is larger, boxier, and more refined than the current model, signaling Kia’s continued push to strengthen its SUV lineup in one of the most competitive segments. Early images reveal a bold front grille framed by vertical headlamps and a sleeker rear design that evokes a luxury-inspired profile similar to that of a Range Rover.

The first-generation Telluride, introduced in 2019, became one of Kia’s most successful nameplates in the United States. It consistently ranked among the most in-demand vehicles nationwide, often selling as quickly as it reached dealer lots. Since its launch, Kia has sold more than 444,000 Tellurides, and sales are up 11% year to date through October.

Kia plans to release more details on trims and specifications during the Los Angeles Auto Show. The current model is offered in 10 trims, with prices ranging from $36,000 to $54,000.

The Telluride has played a pivotal role in elevating Kia’s U.S. brand image, competing directly with midsize SUV leaders such as the Toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, and its sibling model, the Hyundai Palisade. The Palisade received a redesign earlier this year, with prices ranging between $39,000 and $55,000.

As Kia leans further into premium styling and performance, the 2027 Telluride aims to strengthen the automaker’s foothold in a key segment for both dealers and consumers.
