In the month of May, Texas-based Hall Buick GMC launched an initiative to raise funds for The Texas Wounded Warriors Foundation (TWWF), a non-profit that aims to commemorate and inspire Texas residents who have been injured in combat so that they can reintegrate into society after deployment.

The Texas Wounded Warrior Foundation received a portion of every vehicle sale from Hall Buick GMC of Tyler and Hall Chevrolet Buick GMC of Canton during the month, and in total, raised $16,700.

Pam Hall, president of Hall Buick GMC, stated, “There are many military people in our family… We all know the need to help The Wounded Warriors that come back home and don’t have the support.”

For 13 years, the Halls have contributed over $200,000 to the project. They also provide rides for vetereans during TWWF’s annual Pro-AM events.

Dick Goetz, the co-founder and chairman of the TWWF, announced that the 16th Annual TWWF Pro-AM weekend is scheduled for September 30 – October 2 in the Tyler, Texas, area. Goetz stated, “We are really grateful for everything the Hall family has done for us. It’s been fantastic. We have been able to use the funds to support injured soldiers across the state.”

92% of all donations go toward helping wounded service members and their families. Since its founding in 2008, the organization has raised over $7 million to support more than 650 families.
