Mackenzie Ditomassi’s path into automotive finance is anything but typical—and that’s exactly what makes her story so inspiring. She entered the industry during the COVID-19 pandemic with no prior experience, starting as one of the few female Service Advisors at a high-volume BMW store. Determined to learn everything she could, Mackenzie immersed herself in the service department, studying repairs, warranty processes, and claims until she could confidently guide her customers through even the most technical details. Her dedication and curiosity paid off, quickly propelling her to the top of her department.
Her success in service opened the door to a new opportunity: finance. Without ever selling a car, Mackenzie transitioned into finance management, bringing with her a rare perspective rooted in customer advocacy and operational understanding. That experience has made her one of the top performers within her dealer group, consistently leading in both PRU and PPD. Mackenzie takes pride in customizing protection plans for each customer, balancing profitability with genuine care. She has also strengthened collaboration between service and finance, improving accuracy and satisfaction across departments.
In an industry still largely dominated by men, Mackenzie has not only carved out her place but become a standout example of what hard work, empathy, and resilience can achieve. Her story is one of growth, grit, and a genuine love for helping people—a true reflection of what the next generation of automotive leaders looks like.
