Elizabeth Shults has spent more than 16 years building a career defined by innovation, resilience, and a deep understanding of what drives dealership success. As Director of Marketing and Digital Operations for McLarty Daniel Automotive, she oversees six unique rooftops across Northwest Arkansas, leading digital strategy for the largest minority-owned automotive group in America. Managing multiple brands and websites, Elizabeth has unified McLarty Daniel’s digital presence, improved data-driven decision-making, and streamlined operations to create a stronger, more consistent online experience for both customers and employees.
Her journey in automotive began at 17, answering a newspaper ad for Panama City Toyota. From there, she advanced through nearly every department in the dealership, gaining experience in service, sales, finance, and corporate operations. That hands-on foundation now fuels her leadership style — one that blends empathy, strategic insight, and a relentless focus on progress. Since joining McLarty Daniel nearly a decade ago, Elizabeth has helped the group achieve record growth in sales volume, customer engagement, and digital performance. Her efforts have contributed to McLarty Daniel leading Arkansas in new Ford and Nissan sales, earning multiple Cars.com Dealer of the Year and Carfax Top-Rated Dealer awards, and supporting more than 60,000 customers annually.
Known by colleagues for what they call “the Elizabeth Effect,” she is recognized for challenging complacency and pushing teams toward better, smarter ways of doing business. Outside of her corporate role, Elizabeth was elected NADA Academy Class President for Class N415, serves as a Buick GMC LMA Leader shaping national creative strategy, and contributes thought leadership as a founding member of Auto Genius. She also mentors rising digital operators and frequently speaks at industry events, including ASOTUCon. Smart, strategic, and endlessly determined, Elizabeth continues to redefine what modern automotive leadership looks like — with results that speak for themselves.
