Tim Lazzara is the Chief Financial Officer of Premier Automotive Group, a 34-rooftop dealership group operating across seven states. He joined Premier in January 2026 after serving as Chief Financial Officer at Cooper Auto Group and Director, Audit and Advisory at Mac Haik Automotive Group. While he serves in the finance function, he spent every moment on the dealership side in operational meetings learning the business to build actionable reports that can drive operational changes.
Prior to working in industry, he spent a decade in the dealership focused practices of BDO USA and Crowe LLP where he led audits, transaction advisory work, and consulting engagements. His experience spans single-point dealers up to private equity-owned megadealers using public debt to fund growth.
He sits on the planning committee of the AICPA Dealership Conference.
On why he chose automotive: “I love this industry and how an operator can get their shot from the showroom floor and choose to stay a single point operator or grow to a 50+ store group if they have aspirations because of the attention the industry gets from family offices and outside money.”
