Taylor Burget started in the car business as a janitor at a Chevrolet dealership, and today he is Managing Partner of Mazda Amarillo in Amarillo, Texas, leading a team of 42. His start came when that store gave him a chance to move into sales.
From there he went to finance, producing some of the top numbers in the Hendrick Automotive Group, then to general sales manager at a Toyota store in Jacksonville. He moved to Texas to join the Khoury Group and kept climbing, from finance manager to general sales manager to general manager.
Over the last two years, Mazda Amarillo has earned back-to-back Mazda President’s Club awards, become the highest-volume dealership in the Khoury Automotive Group and ranked as the No. 1 Mazda dealership in its region. The store also backs local causes, including the Boys & Girls Club school supply drive, Homeless Heroes and partnerships with area schools and law enforcement.
“These accomplishments represent the collective dedication, hard work, and commitment of the people I have the privilege to lead every day.”
