Jordan Malone-Forst, 32, grew up answering the phones at her family’s dealership in a town of 14,000, and this year she took its Ford site from 1,439 organic clicks to 36,681, by her Search Console figures for the last six months against the six before. Impressions went from 103,000 to 3.1 million and average desktop position from 22.2 to 6.1.
In March she audited the site and found sold-inventory 404s, noindexed pages and canonical conflicts holding everything back. She spent six weeks building a hub, pillar and supporting-blog structure across core models on both franchises, in-house with no agency.
After reworking the internet lead process in VinSolutions, the internet close rate rose from 9.0% to 10.4%, the store’s best in four years, and it sold 18.8% more units from the same number of leads.
Jordan came back to Jay Malone Motors in Hutchinson, Minn., to run digital marketing and is now Assistant General Manager, helping lead more than 30 people. She sits on the Hutchinson Area Chamber of Commerce board, was the community’s 2025 Young Leader of the Year and coaches junior olympic volleyball.
“Traffic was the easy half. Moving a close rate is the hard half. I did both.”
