When Kenosha Toyota opened in 2021, it inherited a neglected customer base and ranked 112 of 112 in the Chicago region on Toyota’s Loyalty and Engagement Opportunity score. Eighteen months ago it reached the top 50, and in May 2026, according to Dan Ferrille, 39, it was No. 3. In 2025 the store won Toyota’s President’s Award.
Dan directs service and parts there and leads a team of 46. He started at 15 as a shop helper in a body shop, finished high school early and graduated from WyoTech in 2005 in the 95th percentile. He was one of two students picked for the inaugural Mercedes-Benz Elite Service Advisor Training at Universal Technical Institute and began his dealership career as a service advisor at Mercedes-Benz of Chicago. After working in powersports through the recession, he returned to Mercedes-Benz in parts, became parts director, then moved back to service as a service manager.
Away from work he coaches youth sports with the Kenosha Boys & Girls Club, partners with Gateway Technical College on an apprenticeship program and volunteers with Great Lakes Dragaway and the Kenosha Humane Society.
“My goal has remained consistent: to become a Dealer Principal.”
