Anthony Catalanotto, 30, started as a lot porter and now directs fixed operations across three rooftops on Long Island for Generation Auto Group, leading a team of 50. In between he worked as a technician, in parts and as a service advisor before moving into management and then the director role. He attended Northwood University and completed NADA Academy, Class N398.
According to his form, technician productivity and efficiency are up 20% per store since he took over, and fixed gross profit grew more than 18% over a 15-month stretch after he rolled out a uniform inspection process, tighter labor rates and busier bays.
He was the 2023 national champion in Kia’s Service Advisor World Competition and competed globally in South Korea. In 2025, an advisor he trained won the same national title.
He joined the advisory board at Suffolk County Community College and has hired four certified graduates from it. He also launched Kia’s VTAP program for military veterans and runs the annual Tunnels to Towers 5K for his group in Bohemia, N.Y.
“I pride myself on breeding great service advisors and great people.”
