Abigail Horning, warranty administrator at 5 Corners Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Cedarburg, Wis., began her career as a technician after earning a degree in automotive technology. From there she moved into dispatching and repair quoting, then into warranty, where she learned manufacturer policy, compliance and dealership operations from the inside.
Today she manages claims from start to finish, working with technicians, advisors and manufacturers to review repair orders, resolve discrepancies and stay audit-ready. Closer audits of repair orders and a better grasp of policy have significantly increased the number of claims that get approved and reimbursed. She also supports daily service department operations and is training to become a Service Manager.
When 5 Corners became the main sponsor of the county fair, she took the lead on the dealership’s presence, from the booth setup to the marketing materials.
