Tom Gregg
Tom Gregg got his start in the car business at age 16 and became a sales manager at a Toyota dealer in Chicago by 21. Over the next 15 years, he held nearly every role in variable operations within high-performing Toyota dealerships, including his time as eCommerce Director at Toyota of Naperville—the top-volume Toyota store in the region for years. In 2013, Tom founded Vehicle Acquisition Network (VAN) with just $6,000 and a simple idea: help dealers acquire inventory more efficiently, outside the auction. Bootstrapped and going strong 12 years later, VAN continues to lead in private-party acquisition innovation. Tom has served in advisory roles for DealerFire and CarGurus, and is known for pushing the envelope in tech, process efficiency, and dealer success.
