Eric Feyer

Age: 40

  • Vice President
  • Feyer Auto Group
  • Edenton, NC

Eric C. Feyer, Owner and VP of Feyer Auto Group, celebrates over 20 years in the retail automotive industry.

Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the automotive business—his grandfather entered the field in the late 1950s, and his father established Feyer Ford in 1999—Feyer initially opposed joining the family legacy. However, his career took a turn in 2005 while working at Enterprise Rental, where a moment washing a van sparked his passion for the car business, leading him to embrace his heritage and the opportunity it presented.

One of Eric’s proudest achievements has been the acquisition of Central Ford in Ahoskie, NC, in 2021. This milestone marked his departure from his father’s shadow, expanded Feyer Auto Group from three to four locations, and demonstrated his commitment to building on the foundation laid by previous generations.

Feyer’s determination to become well-versed in all aspects of dealership operations—including self-education in accounting and tax principles—has garnered him respect within the industry. He playfully refers to himself as a “copycat accountant,” but his hands-on approach has become invaluable in ensuring his dealerships’ success and financial health.

Looking ahead, Feyer aims to grow the Auto Group further by expanding its brand and facilities, including plans for a new Lincoln dealership. With three teenage daughters, he envisions a future where they might follow in his footsteps, leading their own dealership one day.
