Hi, Glenn Pasch with your CBT, Tip Of The Day. Employee turnover costs your, dealership a lot at the end of the year, in terms of production and lost revenue. What you wanna do is create and environment, where you attract the top employees and then hold onto them for the long term. I’m gonna give you three things to focus on when you do this. Number one, present your dealership as a top-class place to work. It will attract the top employees, the top candidates and if your environment is that top class, you will hold onto your people longterm.

Number two is set the expectations right from the gate. Make sure all of your employees understand exactly what’s gonna be expected of them, so there are no surprises. Lastly, make sure that you are investing in their growth, through constant training and feedback to make them produce at a high level. Take those three tips in line and you will cut down on your employee turnover and make your dealership more productive.
